This post is about Bruce Lovelace, a man who wears many hats. He's the father of three, grandfather of one, husband, son, brother, cousin, colleague, and friends with a few who are crazy enough to say they know him. He's a photographer, an instructor, a novice triathlete, and a very grateful cancer survivor.
How do you write a description of an "About Bruce Lovelace" page when you don't know where to begin and don't want to sound braggadocious? That's the dilemma I faced when I finally got around to activate the web address brucelovelace.com.
Once the PUBLISH button is pushed, my words and photos are shared on that vast information highway, I open my life story for potentially hundreds of thousands of visitors viewers. That's a scary thought, for sure.
For now, I've organized this "about page" by dividing my life into compartments. We'll start by diving into the abyss of my professional life.

It wasn't love at first sight-far from it-but our love gets stronger every day. It's been so easy to be committed to my bride of 37 years. In those crazy teenage years I had serious doubts about the likelihood that I'd ever be able to commit to having a single sole mate for a lifetime. Sandy obliterated those doubts.
I'm the luckiest guy in the world in the marriage department. She's such a giving person, a terrific caring mom, and a beautiful wife, and now, a nurturing grandmother. The family has grown in numbers, starting at just 2 and having grown now to 10 members. The photo below is already outdated since our grandchildren have arrived.
